The Strollers group is run by Lynn Pettit.  We walk on the 4th Tuesday of the month, starting from Faringdon between 10 and 10.30am.  We usually meet at Gloucester Street Car Park (GSCP) for car sharing, or sometimes at the Market Place to use the bus.  The walks are between 3 and 4 miles long, and I try and avoid steep hills and too many stiles!  We walk at the pace of the slowest member of the group, though hope that speed and stamina will improve if people walk regularly.  The reward is usually a pub lunch!  We are keen for new members to join the Strollers group, and it is an excellent way of meeting people and forging friendships, as well as enjoying the lovely countryside around Faringdon.  The mental and physical health benefits are also well documented.  The only equipment you need is a stout pair of boots or shoes, a waterproof jacket, and a water bottle.  So why not give it a go?
