The Strollers meet on the second Tuesday of the month, and typically walk 3 – 4 miles at a leisurely pace with a pub or cafe stop at the end.  I have planned urban walks for the worst of the winter months , but stout boots or shoes are still advised. Thanks to Stewart Smith who has offered to lead the January walk.  New members are always welcome, as are offers to lead a walk from existing members!

Tuesday 10 December

Meet at the Market Place, Faringdon to catch the 09.30 bus to Swindon (or meet at the Bus Station at 10.10).  From there we’ll take the 10.20 (number 51) bus to Cricklade arriving at 10.42.  Cricklade is a charming Saxon town on the Upper Thames with a variety of pubs and cafes.

Tuesday 14 January

Stewart Smith, a retired Head Teacher and member of Swindon U3A, will lead a historical walk round Minster Lovell.  Stewart taught history for many years, and has a particular interest in local history.  He has a wealth of knowledge about Minster Lovell, where he was brought up.  A treat in store!

Meet at GSCP at 10.00 for car sharing.

Tuesday 11 February
