Thursday February 27 – meet at GSCP 0930 for car sharing to Hannington, or meet at Jolly Tar, Hannington SN6 7RP @ 0955. Walk to be led by Penny Smith, 01793 782416 or 07853 626849. We’ll start from the Jolly Tar at Hannington, which has a large car park. It’s a 5.9-mile walk – Hannington, Stanton Fitzwarren, Highworth Golf Centre, and back to Hannington. It is mostly flat with just a few undulations. 

Thursday March 26 – N.B. Meet at Coleshill café car park, SN6 7PT at 0930. not Gloucester Street car park.  

This will be a circular mostly flat 6.5 mile walk in pleasant countryside and will take about 3.5 hours. We shall walk to Brimstone Farm, Colleymore farm, Great Coxwell, Ashen Copse Farm and return to Coleshill. Walk to be led by Marcus Lapthorn.

Thursday 23 April – meet at GSCP 0930 for car sharing to Letcombe Regis or meet at 0955 at Letcombe Regis café OX12 9RG. This 5.5 mile walk will be led by Nina Purbrick, 07954 440621. The walk will be a circular to Letcombe Bassett, Devils Punch Bowl, the Ridgeway, Segsbury Fort and return.

Thursday 28 May – meet at GSCP 0930 for car sharing to Buckland or meet at Buckland village hall car park, SN7 8QT @ 0955. This circular 5.5 mile walk will be led by Patrick Sharkey, 07899 846183. We walk to Littleworth, passing St. Hugh’s School. We then turn south, crossing the A420 for the first time to Tagdown Barn, then past Carswell Golf course into the woodland of Buckland Warren. Finally, passing by The Dovecote at Home Farm we return to Buckland, crossing the A420 again.

There will usually be a pub or cafe stop at the end. The pace will be moderate and there will be a short break for drinks about half way. Dogs are welcome on walks unless otherwise stated. Dogs should be kept under close control and on a short lead on roads, near livestock or sensitive wildlife and wherever the walk Leader requires it. If your dog is chased by an animal it is safer to let your dog off the lead.
