U3A 2020 Ramblers Programme

A number of our ramblers have asked when we will be restarting our U3A group walks. Unfortunately the time is not yet right to do so. Your collective safety is of the utmost importance and we cannot restart until the national U3A authorise us to do so.

When this authority is given then you will find the latest information on our U3A web-site.

In the meantime I wish that you all remain safe and well. Best wishes,

Marcus Lapthorn

Ramblers Group Organiser.

Walks information – There will usually be a pub or cafe stop at the end. The pace will be moderate and there will be a short break for drinks about half way. Dogs are welcome on walks unless otherwise stated. Dogs should be kept under close control and on a short lead on roads, near livestock or sensitive wildlife and wherever the walk Leader requires it. If your dog is chased by an animal it is safer to let your dog off the lead.
